Rubel up against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

August 30, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.1705 against the US dollar at the August 30 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It also climbed to 4.5191 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.5233 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.5574 against the euro.
In the outgoing week (August 26–30), the rubel gained 0.49 percent of its value against the US dollar but fell 1.06 percent against the euro, 0.44 percent against the yuan and 0.73 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency strengthened 1.34 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2024.
