Rubel up against US dollar at week’s last trading session

March 7, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.2125 against the US dollar at the March 7 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency rose to 3.5728 per 100 Russian rubles but dropped to 4.3762 per 10 Chinese yuan.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.46 against the euro.

In the outgoing week (March 3 – 7), the rubel lost 0.28 percent against the dollar, 4.32 percent against the euro and 0.87 percent against the yuan but appreciated 1.03 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 8.54 percent against the dollar in the first two months of 2025.
