Rubel up against US dollar, yuan at BCSE on August 20

August 20, Pozirk. The rubel strengthened to 2.9738 against the US dollar at the August 20 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency climbed to 4.1239 per 10 Chinese yuan but dropped to 3.479 per euro and 3.696 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (August 11 – 15), the rubel gained 0.41 percent against the dollar and 0.1 percent against the Russian ruble, but lost 0.46 percent against the euro and 0.39 percent against the yuan.
The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2025.
