Biełavija cancels two flights to Tel Aviv this week

March 10, Pozirk. The Belarusian flagship carrier Biełavija has cancelled two flights from Minsk to Tel Aviv scheduled for March 12 and 15, citing the closure of Israeli airspace to foreign carriers until March 16.
Passengers affected by the flight cancellations can request refunds at the point of purchase, the airline said.
Yesterday, the Belarusian embassy in Tel Aviv announced that Belarusians can leave Israel on regular flights operated by Israeli airlines El Al, Israir, Arkia and Air Haifa.
Biełavija, along with other airlines, cancelled flights to Israel following the launch of the military operation by the United States and Israel in Iran on February 28 and the killing of Iran’s longtime ruler Ali Khamenei and other top officials.
Tehran retaliated by launching missile and drone strikes at Israel and Gulf states.
The US Operation Epic Fury against Iran aims to destroy the Iranian missile industry, defeat the fleet, prevent nuclear weapons development and ensure freedom for the Iranian people, according to US President Donald Trump.
Alaksandar Łukašenka denounced the US-Israeli strikes on Iran as a “treacherous attack.”
