Łukašenka discusses cooperation with Tajik president

October 5, Pozirk. Alaksandar Łukašenka and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon have discussed bilateral cooperation and interaction at the international level in a phone call.

The conversation also focused on topics to be discussed at the upcoming Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, said Pul Pervogo, his press office’s unofficial Telegram channel. 

Łukašenka noted the great importance of friendly relations and developing cooperation between Minsk and Dushanbe in his congratulatory message on Rahmon’s 71st birthday, October 5. 

In 2022, trade between both countries amounted to $89.4 million with a 92-percent share of Belarusian exports, according to the Tajik official data.
