Border guards say they found another body near Polish border

November 22, BPN. Belarusian border guards found the body of a migrant from North Africa near the Polish border fence, the State Border Committee’s press office said.

Allegedly, a Belarusian border patrol discovered a group of foreigners and “the body of a man lying next to them” on November 21.

Border authorities, citing a “brother of the deceased,” said that Polish border guards refused assistance and forced the group to take the body to Belarus.

On November 19, Belarusian border guards discovered a body of a “non-Slavic man without warm outerwear” near the Polish fence on the border with Belarus. In early October, they allegedly found a dead man in the same area, and on November 8, “a Syrian national, beaten by the Polish security forces.”

Lithuania and Poland accused Belarusian border guards of herding migrants across the border. They charged Minsk with engineering the migration crisis that they see as a hybrid attack on the European Union.
