Roman Catholic figure: “Call evil evil” as the world slides into World War III

November 25, BPN. Retired Archbishop Tadevuš Kandrusievič has called on believers to remain “people of conscience.”

“Call evil evil and good good,” he said ahead of Advent. “Overcoming evil and nurturing good is a fundamental issue that cannot be diminished or sidelined. It should always come first.”

Advent, the spiritual leader noted, helps “find hope among the problems of the modern world.” “Our time is filled with many challenges and difficulties. Society is divided. The world is on the verge of a new world war. Many people suffer from injustice, imprisonment, illness, loss of loved ones and other hardships,” Kandrusievič said.

He also urged believers to pray for the speedy resumption of services in Minsk’s Red Church. Minskaja Spadčyna, a state-run company which owns the building, terminated the lease with its parish in October, citing repair work.
