Ukraine conducts space reconnaissance on Russia, allies

November 25, BPN. The Ukrainian defense ministry’s main intelligence directorate says it has conducted “space radar reconnaissance of about 150 enemy locations both on Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories and on the territory of the occupier and its allies.”

The Serhiy Prytula Foundation made a Finnish ICEYE satellite available to the reconnaissance team. About 2,600 units of Russian military equipment were spotted, including tanks, self-propelled artillery systems, Iskander and S-300 missile systems, helicopters, radar stations, pontoon crossings, and boats.

On February 24, 2022 Russia launched a full-scale war against the Ukrainian people. The authorities in Minsk deny that the Belarusian military participates in Russia’s hostilities. At the same time, the territory of Belarus was actively used by the Russians to attack Ukraine at the outset of the invasion and in some later periods.
