KGB adds four to terrorist list

November 30, BPN. The Belarusian Committee for State Security (KGB) has added four names to its register of people involved in terrorist activities.

Andrej Androsienkaŭ, Illa Vieramiejeŭ, Illa Holcaŭ and Palina Arechava were convicted of incitement to hatred, a charge often used to silence regime critics.

Those on the terrorist list are barred from receiving money transfers in prison.

The 963-entry list includes more than 220 Belarusian nationals.
