Verification of potential draftees’ details enters second stage – defense office

November 30, BPN. The defense ministry has announced the second stage of verification of draft-age Belarusians’ account details.

The General Staff’s Alaksandr Šalpuk said the first stage focused on companies and organizations, and the second stage will involve military enlistment offices and executive committees.

“I would like to note that more than 70 percent of draft-age youth have taken part in data verification and accounting activities,” he said. “This work will be completed in a month.”

The wide scale campaign to check the potential conscripts’ details was announced on October 19.
