Rubel up against dollar, yuan at BCSE

January 9, BPN. The Belarusian currency has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.7101 at the January 9 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also climbed against the Chinese yuan to 3.9747 per 10 yuan but dropped against the euro to 2.9095 and against the Russian currency to 3.835 per 100 rubles. 

Last week (January 3-6), the rubel climbed 0.18 percent against the dollar and 0.47 percent against the euro. It dropped 3.38 percent against the yuan and 0.74 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency plunged by 7.39 percent against the greenback in 2022.
