Rubel down against dollar, euro at BCSE

January 27, BPN. The Belarusian currency has depreciated against the US dollar and the euro at the January 27 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It fell to 2.6409 against the dollar and to 2.8692 against the euro, but climbed against the Chinese yuan to 3.8959 per 10 yuan and against the Russian ruble to 3.8123 per 100 rubles.

This week (January 23-27), the rubel dropped 0.38 percent against the dollar, 0.68 percent against the euro, and 0.91 percent against the yuan. At the same time, it climbed 0.48 percent against the Russian ruble.  

The Belarusian currency plunged by 7.39 percent against the greenback in 2022.
