KGB to hold counterterrorist drills in Kličaŭ

February 6, BPN. The Committee for State Security (KGB) is planning to hold counterterrorist drills in the Kličaŭ district, Mahileŭ region, on February 7 and 8.

The purpose is to “check governmental agencies’ readiness to respond” to acts of terror, said the KGB press office.

The exercise will involve police, border guards, military and emergency response personnel, as well as military equipment, it said.

The KGB held similar drills in the Minsk and Viciebsk regions last month.
