Polish border guards seize stolen Ferrari worth over $280,000 at Belarus border

April 11, BPN. Polish border guards seized a wanted Ferrari Portofino worth 1.2 million zlotys (some $281,000) at the Kukuryki border crossing on April 8, the Nadbużański border unit said.

A spokesperson for the unit said a 28-year-old Belarusian driver was towing the 2019 car on a trailer. A check revealed that it was “wanted as stolen.”

According to border guards, it is the most expensive car detained at Poland’s eastern border this year. “It is also one of the world’s most expensive and fastest coupe cars. Its top speed is 320 km/h,” the spokesman said.

The driver has been arrested, and the vehicle has been taken to a pound. Preliminary proceedings have been opened.
