Rubel up against dollar, Russian currency at BCSE

April 14, BPN. The Belarusian currency has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.9356 at the April 14 trading session at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also climbed against the Russian currency to 3.6082 per 100 rubles but fell against the Chinese yuan to 4.2887 per 10 yuan. The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.2515 against the euro. 

This week (April 10 to 14), the rubel dropped by 2.17 percent against the euro and by 0.03 percent against the Russian currency. It rose by 1.27 percent against the dollar and by 0.9 percent against the yuan. 

The rubel lost 4.41 percent of its value against the dollar in the first three months of 2023
