April 17, BPN. Real disposable incomes decreased by 1.1 percent in January-February 2023, y/y.
The Belstat statistics service reports that January’s decline was 0.9 percent.
Real disposable incomes fell by 3.6 percent in 2022, although the authorities had expected them to increase by 2 percent. The decline occured amid a 4.7 percent drop in gross domestic product, primarily caused by western sanctions and the loss of the Ukrainian market.
