Rubel up against US dollar, euro at BCSE

May 3, BPN. The rubel has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.8901 at the May 3 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also climbed to 3.192 against the euro but fell to 4.1738 per 10 Chinese yuan and to 3.6467 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (April 26-28), the rubel gained 0.41 percent versus the greenback, 1.16 percent against the yuan, and 0.07 percent against the Russian currency. It fell 0.39 percent against the common European currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 6.91 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2023.
