Rubel climbs against dollar, yuan at BCSE

May 4, BPN. The rubel climbed to 2.8853 per dollar and 4.1657 per 10 yuan at today’s trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

There was no trading in euros, with EUR/BYN standing at 3.192.

The Belarusian currency fell to 3.6627 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (April 26-28), the rubel gained 0.41 percent versus the greenback, 1.16 percent against the yuan, and 0.07 percent against the Russian currency. It fell 0.39 percent against the common European currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 6.91 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2023.
