Rubel ends week on positive note

April 19, Pozirk. The rubel has gained against the US, EU and Chinese currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

In today’s trading, it rose to 3.2616 per dollar, 3.4728 per euro and 4.4874 per 10 yuan. However, it fell to 3.4812 per 100 Russian rubles.

The rubel posted gains against all major currencies in the outgoing week, April 15–19. It rose 0.07 percent against the dollar, 0.78 percent against the euro, 0.06 percent against the yuan and 0.27 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 2.28 percent of its value against the dollar in the first three months.
