August 13, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Italy’s embassy will randomly check whether Belarusians reapplying for visas traveled to Italy, the country’s visa center in Minsk reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It noted that for Italian Schengen visa holders, the main destination is Italy, although they may transit or stay in other Schengen countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The center may ask applicants to present proof of their previous trips to Italy, such as tickets, accommodation, receipts for expenses or a bank statement reflecting such expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants invited by Italians may be asked to produce photographs with their hosts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These documents are not part of the mandatory package but can contribute to a positive decision, the center said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
