{"id":101448,"date":"2024-08-21T17:03:23","date_gmt":"2024-08-21T14:03:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/101448\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","slug":"four-online-communities-declared-extremist","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/101448\/","title":{"rendered":"Four online communities declared extremist groups"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>August 21, <em>Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The interior ministry on August 15 declared the sect Russian Orthodox Church\u2013Tsarist Empire an extremist group, according to the latest update of the extremism register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It named D\u017amitryj Jarmak, Hanna Strukava, Halina Fra\u0142ova, Pavie\u0142 Leva\u0161uk and Volha Bajko\u016dskaja as individuals associated with the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interior ministry said the sect grossly distorted the doctrines and practices of the Orthodox Church, opposed society and pit its followers against traditional churches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On August 12, the Committee for State Security (KGB) designated the Association of Belarus&#8217; Political Prisoners as an extremist group. It listed Ina \u0160yrokaja, D\u017amitryj Maksim\u010dyk, Alaksandar Chrapko and Alaksandar La\u0144ko as members. The association supports political prisoners and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On August 13, the KGB issued the same designation for the Polish Freedom and Democracy Foundation. It named Lilia Luboniewicz and Maciej Dancewicz as members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to its website, the foundation is an independent, non-partisan and non-governmental entity.
