August 31, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Russia has sent 470 kg of veterinary products back to Belarus, the Russian veterinary supervision service Rosselkhoznadzor reported yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors said the producer of the drugs did not have a proper Good Manufacturing Practice certificate. Moreover, some were not on the list of veterinary medicines registered by the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drugs were found this week in a van with Belarusian registration plates that Rosselkhoznadzor officials stopped in Russia’s Bryansk province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cargo, backed by international waybills, was heading to recipients in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Belgorod province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, Rosselkhoznadzor reported several times about the prevention of smuggling from Belarus. For instance, on July 24, the service sent over 600 kg of blueberries back to Belarus. The cargo was entering Russia from the Doloscy phytosanitary checkpoint in the Pskov province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
