September 3, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Taras Melnychuk, who represents the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, has announced Ukraine’s intention to pull out of international agreements it concluded with Belarus in the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bill approved by the Cabinet of Ministers proposes withdrawal from agreements on mineral resources, pensions for prosecutors, measures against false trademarks and geographical indications and the procedure for sharing samples of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the government proposed to denounce an agreement on industrial cooperation, Melnychuk said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, in which Belarus supports Russia, Kyiv terminated numerous bilateral cooperation agreements with Minsk and within the CIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April, Ukraine pulled out of a CIS agreement on cooperation in public health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
