September 20, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The share of domestically produced goods sales in Belarus has shrunk, according to the National Statistical Committee (Bie\u0142stat). In the first six months, it decreased by 2.9 percentage points year on year to 57.9 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, five Belarusian products totally dominated the market: gasoline, diesel fuel, pork, butter, and eggs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shares of such Belarusian products as vodkas, fresh potatoes, fresh carrots, fresh cucumbers and beers expanded to an average of 93 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shares of fresh beetroots, \u0441ement, new passenger cars, canned fish and caviar and fruit and vegetable juices fell to 74 percent on average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The profitability of goods sold by Belarusian companies in January\u2013July was 8.1 percent, down 1.2 pp from the seven months of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The return on sales was 6.7 percent, down 0.9 pp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
