October 1, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The Belarusian Armed Forces Western Operational Command has launched a command staff drill at the Hrodna garrison, the defense ministry reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is to assess the command bodies\u2019 readiness and the main groups’ capability to perform their tasks in a changing situation. The focus is on execution quality and decision making, as well as on developing effective measures to prepare for upcoming operations and working out modern solutions that draw on Russia\u2019s “special military operation” experience, said Pavie\u0142 Muraviejka, chief of the General Staff in charge of the exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, the Belarusian army launched a series of drills across the country under Muraviejka\u2019s command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drills will take place at all training ranges, the defense ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soldiers and reservists will draw equipment from warehouses and deploy to designated areas. Temporary restrictions are possible on the movement of civilian transport along public roads, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The army conducted a series of drills this spring in response to NATO\u2019s Steadfast Defender multi-domain exercise, incorporating land, air, sea, cyber and space operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
