October 27, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Polish Ministry of National Defense has rejected Belarus’ accusations regarding the death of a migrant, onet.pl<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The body of the Bangladeshi refugee was found on Tuesday near the Polish fence in the Kamianiec district, the Belarusian State Border Committee (SBC) reported on October 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the Polish ministry’s spokesman Janusz Sejmej said yesterday that there were no border crossings or migrant activity in the area, where Belarusian services stepped up their operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This is another example of fake news directed against Poland in the media sphere. We would like to point out that the war waged by the Russian Federation goes beyond military operations and beyond the territory of our eastern neighbor,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Polish Border Guard rejected the portal’s request for comment. “We do not comment on materials posted online by Belarusian services, as we consider them further elements of provocation and disinformation,” spokesman Andrzej Ju\u017awiak said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The migration crisis at the Belarusian-European border continues since the spring of 2021. Poland and the Baltic states call it a hybrid attack organized by Minsk and Moscow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SBC alleged that Poland’s strict migration policy “has killed six refugees since January, and 27 corpses of foreigners have been found at the Polish border since 2021.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
