November 3, Pozirk. <\/em><\/strong>At least five Russian drones out of 96 that attacked Ukraine last night violated Belarusian airspace, the defense monitoring group Bie\u0142aruski Hajun said. One reportedly returned to Ukraine shortly after crossing the border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A group of three drones flew over the Homiel region’s Brahin district, while another UAV was spotted after 10 pm yesterday at the Belarusian-Ukrainian border near the Chernobyl exclusion zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusian military aircraft did not take off to intercept the drones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drone incursions into Belarus have been regularly reported over the past four months as Russians attack Ukraine. Last month, the media reported the brutal arrest of a woman in Kalinkavi\u010dy, Homiel region, over a Russian drone crash video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In early September, Belarusian air defenses downed several drones over Homiel. Later, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka admitted drone incursions and claimed that Belarusian air defenses shoot down UAVs regardless of their Russian or Ukrainian origin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
