November 15, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The BySol solidarity fund has put on alert all of its activists to help victims of a new crackdown on regime critics across Belarus reported in the run-up to the presidential vote on January 21-26, its head Andrej Stry\u017eak has announced.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe entire BySol evacuation team is working at full capacity in connection with today’s raid. There are a lot of requests. We are getting people out of danger,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of the recent arrests and searches reported in Minsk, the Hrodna region and Brest region\u2019s Baranavi\u010dy targeted political prisoners’ family members and were linked to receiving help from opposition initiatives, rights groups said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
