November 15, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>The rise of real disposable income (adjusted for inflation) slowed down to 9.4 percent year on year in January-September, the National Statistics Committee (Bie\u0142stat) reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Official statistics recorded the rise in real income of 9.7 percent one month ago and of 9.9 percent two months ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, real income was up 6.3 percent after falling 3.6 percent in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusians\u2019 nominal average pay before taxes amounted to 2,314 rubels in September (about $688), down 1.2 percent from the August level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consumer prices rose by 0.5 percent in October and 5.9 percent year on year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government projected a 3.5-percent increase in real income and a 3.9-percent increase in real pay in 2024. Nominal average pay was projected to rise to 2,087 rubels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
