November 26, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> A resident of the city of Slavutych in the Kyiv region has been arrested on suspicion of helping draft-age Ukrainians leave the country for Belarus, the National Police of Ukraine reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to investigators, the 37-year-old man helped evade mobilization and advertised relevant services on the Internet. He allegedly sold plans for crossing the border and bypassing checkpoints. Those avoiding military service were to swim across the Dniapro. A criminal case was opened. The man faces up to nine years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 21, Radyjo Svaboda<\/em> reported that a resident of Ukraine’s Volyn region, a Belarusian from the village of Dubra\u016dcy, launched a Telegram channel to help Ukrainians evade mobilization. The court sentenced her to three years’ probation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Belarusian border guards, more than 268,000 Ukrainians have arrived in the country since February 24, 2022. The Ukrainian ambassador says that these statistics are based on regular trips of Ukrainian citizens to Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
