November 27, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> In the night of November 26 and the following morning, Ukrainian military detected 89 combat drones launched by Russia to attack their country. Five of them then flew toward Belarus, Russia and Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories, the Ukrainian Air Force said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drone attack began at 7:30 p.m. yesterday, it said. As of 9 a.m., 36 drones were downed and 48 were lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the defense monitoring group Bie\u0142aruski Hajun, Russian drones entered Belarusian airspace at least twice overnight. The first incursion took place near the village of Ni\u017enija \u017dary, Homiel region. The second one was near the Asarevi\u010dy village in the same area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ukrainian Air Force reported numerous Russian drone incursions into Belarus in October and November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian General Staff Chief, Pavie\u0142 Muraviejka, told SB. Belarus Segodnya <\/em>that a peaceful sky is “when you don\u2019t expect any drones.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 4, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka admitted combat drone incursions into Belarus, adding that Belarus had downed “many” regardless of their Ukrainian or Russian origin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0141uka\u0161enka attributed the incursions to the low level of expertise of drone operators. Electronic warfare systems set the UAVs off course, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
