Belarus Segodnya<\/em>, <em>Respublika<\/em>, <em>\u0179viazda<\/em>, <em>Narodnaya Gazeta<\/em> and <em>Znamya Yunosti <\/em>feature on the list that includes political, cultural and educational periodicals as well as journals for children and youth that promote the government&#8217;s anti-Western narratives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the 2020 crackdown, most independent Belarusian media outlets relocated abroad or shut down. The number of outlawed independent online news outlets, websites and social media accounts exceeded 4,000 since 2020, according to a Freedom House survey released in mid-October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many Belarusian independent media outlets faced financial problems this year, including&nbsp;<em>KYKY<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Reform<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Belsat<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Plan B<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>ex-press.live<\/em>.
