{"id":119232,"date":"2024-12-20T21:27:10","date_gmt":"2024-12-20T18:27:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/119232\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","slug":"russian-kazakh-oil-deliveries-via-druzhba-pipeline-halted-reuters","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/119232\/","title":{"rendered":"Russian, Kazakh oil deliveries via Druzhba pipeline halted \u2013 Reuters"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>December 20, <em>Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Russian and Kazakh oil deliveries to Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Germany via the Druzhba pipeline have been halted since Thursday due to technical issues at a Russian pumping station, <em>Reuters<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/markets\/commodities\/oil-via-russias-druzhba-pipeline-halted-by-technical-problems-sources-say-2024-12-20\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">reported<\/a>, citing unnamed sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pipeline is the last link between Russian oilfields and European refineries after European Union governments limited their dependence on Russian gas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Belarus&#8217; Belneftekhim confirmed the disruption to oil supplies via Druzhba to BelTA news agency and said its refineries were using stored oil volumes to maintain operations. The company shared the comment it provided to Belta with Reuters,&#8221; the report said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sources said that Transneft, Druzhba&#8217;s Russian operator, discovered a problem at the Unecha pumping station in Russia&#8217;s Bryansk province, about 70 km from the border with Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the shutdown, the pipeline was transporting 300,000 barrels per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cause of the problem remains unclear.
