August 29, BPN.<\/em> <\/strong>\u015aviat\u0142ana Cichano\u016dskaja has asked Bujar Osmani, North Macedonia’s top diplomat serving as chairman-in-office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), for assistance in bringing Belarus back to the organization’s spotlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exiled Belarusian opposition leader has stressed that the OSCE plays an “extremely important role in these critical times,” her aide told BPN<\/em> in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She suggested that Europe’s major security organization could act on Belarusian political prisoners, who she said were held incommunicado in inhumane conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“All of them should be released immediately,” Cichanouskaja said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also urged the OSCE to give a proper assessment to the upcoming parliamentary elections in her country, which she denounced as “a farce and imitation.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
