January 14, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The Hrodna garrison hosts a three-day tactical training session for battalion commanders and their deputies on measures to counter drone attacks, the defense ministry’s press office reported yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officers of the Western Operational Command and the Minsk region’s 72nd Combined Arms Training Center participate in the drill designed based on Russian combat experiences in Ukraine, it noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After studying theory, the officers are expected to spend two days at the Ho\u017ea training range near the Polish and Lithuanian borders to improving skills in tactics, marksmanship, engineering and other combat training subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian army is regularly conducting drills amid Russia’s ongoing war on Ukraine. Today, Minsk and Moscow launched a joint three-day command staff training in Minsk, while Belarusian reservists on January 8 were called up for a drill in the Homiel region bordering Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
