Overall, defense and the police account for 20 percent of the national budget\u2019s total expenditures. For comparison, 15 percent of total expenditures were allocated for these needs in 2021,&#8221; the experts stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the report, to support the economy amid sanctions and the worsening terms of trade, the government &#8220;plans to launch an investment cycle and increase spending on the national economy by 16 percent.&#8221; Significant growth is planned for industry and construction (+28 percent) and the transport sector (+13 percent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Only 8 percent more than in 2024 will be allocated for the road sector, but even these moderate growth rates of funding are twice as high as two years ago.
