The Belarusian government also placed other restrictions on the conduct of business by foreigners, it noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In mid-January, Lithuanian MPs voted to terminate a similar treaty with Belarus before 2026. Vilnius cited Minsk\u2019s support of Russia\u2019s war on Ukraine and gross violations of international law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lithuania stopped cooperation with Belarus and has not exchanged information for tax purposes for a few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last September, the Lithuanian Seimas approved withdrawal from at least three economic cooperation treaties with Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also read: <a href=\"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/120489\/\">Germany suspends double tax treaty with Belarus<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>February 6, Pozirk.
