February 16, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarusian universities will offer several new majors in the 2025-2026 academic year, Education Minister Andrej Ivaniec has told STV<\/em> in an interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusian State University will have the Intelligent Electronics major for future micro- and nanoelectronics professionals. The Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies in Mahilo\u016d will have the Food Safety major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEducating the younger generation is also in our focus, so the new specialty Physical Education\u2014Military and Patriotic Education will be available for our students at Mahilo\u016d State University,\u201d the minister said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Ivaniec, about 50 non-major subjects will be abolished during this admission campaign \u201cso that each university understands what specialists it trains, what it specializes in, and where it has a good research school and academic staff.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to state media, Mahilo\u016d State University is already training \u201cmilitary and patriotic education leaders\u201d; twenty people were recruited this academic year, including five girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
