February 19, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> LTG Cargo, part of the state-owned Lithuanian Railways, has suspended shipments of rapeseed oil produced by Belarus\u2019 Ahrapradukt hours after the Belarusian Investigative Center (BIC) reported that the company uses crops from Ukraine\u2019s territories occupied by Russia, delfi.lt<\/em> reported, citing 15min<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier today, the Belarusian Investigative Center and its partners released an investigation saying that Russia exports rapeseed from occupied Ukrainian territories and sells them to Belarus, which extracts oil and supplies it to the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LTG Cargo has reportedly launched an internal probe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the company, about 50,000 tons of Ahrapadukt\u2019s rapeseed oil transited Lithuania in 2024. In the last quarter alone, 47,000 tons of the Belarusian rapeseed oil entered the country. Ahrapradukt produces about 300,000 tons of oil per year, with exports accounting for 80 percent of its sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the investigation, the Kamianiec-based oil mill doubled production in 2022. Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
