February 27, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarus\u2019 Committee for State Security (KGB) has included three people in the list of \u201cpersons involved in terrorist activities,\u201d according to the agency\u2019s Telegram channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It names them as Pavie\u0142 \u0160oracha\u016d, Alaksandar Sudnikovi\u010d and Anton Ilin. Belarusian human rights groups designated them as political prisoners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reportedly, they were found guilty of inciting hatred. The KGB cited the entry into force of their sentences as the reason for the inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to rights activists, Sudnikovi\u010d was also charged with forming an extremist group, insulting the head of state, and offending a state servant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the terrorist list contains 1,352 entries, it only names 1,249 people, 555 Belarusian nationals among them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prisoners declared terrorists are prohibited from receiving money transfers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rights activists blame the government of Belarus of misusing anti-extremist and anti-terrorist laws to stifle dissent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
