March 1, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> \u015aviat\u0142ana Cichano\u016dskaja has called on her followers to always defend freedom. \u201cIn Belarus, in Ukraine, and everywhere it is under threat,\u201d she said<\/a> on X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian opposition leader called Russia\u2019s war in Ukraine a war against freedom and universal values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe brave people of Ukraine are fighting not only for their own future but also for a free, peaceful, and secure Europe,” she said. “Belarusians stand with Ukraine.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The post came a day after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky\u2019s meeting with US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office grew contentious<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, Cichano\u016dskaja’s close ally Pavie\u0142 \u0141atu\u0161ka unambiguously expressed his support for Zelensky. He called the breakdown in relations between Kyiv and Washington a historic moment and urged Europe to be strong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
