March 3, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The United States remains a powerful country but has ceased to be the leader of the free world, said Pavie\u0142 \u0141atu\u0161ka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The head of the opposition National Anti-Crisis Management took to YouTube to once again comment on US President Donald Trump\u2019s fiery exchange with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“What happened in the Oval Office is not Zelensky\u2019s fiasco. It\u2019s a fiasco of American diplomacy,” \u0141atu\u0161ka said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Most leaders, politicians, European democracies \u2026 and democratic states around the world realized after this conversation \u2026 that the US is no longer the leader of the free world,” the former diplomat said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He criticized the United States for giving up on values for the sake of lucrative deals and treating the aggressor, Russia, as “an equal party in this war.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Everyone understood that the US can abandon the weak at a difficult moment,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He pointed out that Ukraine gave away its nuclear weapons in exchange for security under the Budapest Memorandum thirty years ago. “Where are these guarantees?” he asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A planned mineral resources agreement between the USA and Ukraine fell apart after the heated meeting<\/a> on Friday. US figures like Trump and Vice President JD Vance publicly accused Zelensky of disrespect, while European leaders supported Zelensky’s defensive posture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
