March 5, Pozirk. <\/em><\/strong>The chairman of the Belarusian Automobile Association (BAA) has said that new passenger car sales continued to grow at dealerships in February but at a slower pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Siarhiej Varyvoda, a ban on leasing arrangements with schedules denominated in foreign currencies but payments in the local currency has no significant impact on the sales, nor does an increased fee to offset the costs of vehicle recycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the BAA website, dealers sold 4,598 new passenger cars on the Belarusian market over the past month, 83 percent more than in February 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It notes that the Geely brand regained its leadership, with a share of 48.3 percent. In January, the leader was the Russian Lada brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
