March 5, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Dzianis Ku\u010dynski, a diplomatic advisor for \u015aviat\u0142ana Cichano\u016dskaja, says that the pro-democracy forces are aware of Poland scaling down the issuance of humanitarian visas and continue to work against isolating Belarusians from Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier today, Warsaw was reported to allow these visas only for those Belarusians who are at real risk of loss of life and health or criminal responsibility over their political views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Poland consistently demonstrates support for Belarusians who find themselves in difficult circumstances. We understand that the decision to tighten the visa issuance system reflects the Polish authorities’ intention to ensure the transparency and security of migration processes. So it is important to use humanitarian visas strictly for their intended purpose \u2013 to protect people who are truly at risk of persecution,” Ku\u010dynski said in a video on Cichano\u016dskaja’s Telegram channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that Poland continues to issue visas to political emigrants’ relatives upon invitation, enabling families to reunite and receive support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
