March 11, Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>Minsk has been making significant efforts to achieve peace in Ukraine and resolve other conflicts worldwide through diplomatic means, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka has told foreign diplomats while receiving their credentials in the Belarusian capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ambassadors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Georgia, India, Kenya, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar and Pakistan attended the ceremony.  Earlier, the leaders of these countries, except for Burkina Faso and Myanmar, congratulated \u0141uka\u0161enka on extending his 30-year rule in Belarus. Myanmar\u2019s prime minister visited Belarus last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian ruler praised Minsk\u2019s initiatives aimed at \u201cbuilding an equal and indivisible security architecture, including in the Eurasian space.” He also declared readiness for “a comprehensive dialogue in the spirit of San Francisco,\u201d most likely implying the foundation principles of the United Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNeither distance nor different faiths or cultural traditions will prevent us from reaching an agreement, with [those countries that] do not give us ultimatums or dictate terms,\u201d his press office quoted him as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, \u0141uka\u0161enka suggested that Minsk may be the best venue to host potential talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re interested, come. . . Let\u2019s sit down quietly, without any noise or shouting,\u201d he told Mario Nawfal, an X celebrity whose live audio chat receives promotion from Elon Musk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTell Trump that I am here, waiting for him with Putin and Zelensky. We\u2019ll have a calm discussion and come to an understanding. If you want to negotiate,\u201d the Belarusian ruler said, hinting at his readiness to participate in the talks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
