March 18, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Georgiy Muradov, Crimea’s permanent envoy to the Russian president, has said that attracting Belarusian tourists to the Russian-annexed Ukrainian region is a priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crimea’s tourism ministry will set up a stand at the international tourism fair Leisure-2025 in Minsk to attract Belarusian tourists to the peninsula, Muradov said, as quoted by TASS<\/em>. The fair will run from March 27 to March 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program of the visit includes meetings with tourism sector professionals, the Federation of Trade Unions, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the official said. According to his remarks, Belarusians constitute only a small share of tourists visiting Crimea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Muradov, in 2024, foreigners made up only 1 percent of the total number of tourists visiting the peninsula; 87 percent of them were CIS citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official did not give specific figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
