March 19, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Minsk-based P\u0142anar microelectronics factory buys components in the United States, the BelPol association reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The US sanctioned the factory in 2023 and the UK, Australia and Canada in 2024, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It called the Belarusian company a key supplier of equipment to Russian microcircuit manufacturers and the Minsk-based Intehra\u0142 microchip factory, which “actively works for the Russian military-industrial complex.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“On November 5, 2024, the company signed a contract with the American semiconductor manufacturer TEKSOLI, Inc. for the delivery of sets of standard wafers with latex spheres for a total of $10,235,” BelPol said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In its opinion, “such companies should be subject to strict control, and their activities should be limited as much as possible by international sanctions to prevent further risks to global security.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On May 19, 2024, BelPol released on its YouTube channel an investigation on Belarusian companies that make millions of dollars by supplying weapons to Russia and circumventing sanctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
