March 25, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The share of loss-making entities in Belarusian companies, excluding small businesses, was 24.8 percent in January 2025, 4.7 points more than two years ago, according to Pozirk<\/em>‘s analysis of data from the National Statistical Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minsk accounted for the bulk of unprofitable organizations, 31.4 percent (in January 2023, the share was 28.1 percent). Next came the Brest region with 24.4 percent (as compared with 20 percent two years ago), the Minsk region with 24.3 percent (up from 18.8 percent), the Hrodna region with 24 percent (up from 20.7 percent), the Mahilo\u016d region with 21.9 percent (up from 19.8 percent), the Viciebsk region with 21.7 percent (up from 16.6 percent), and the Homiel region with 16.7 percent (up from 11.9 percent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
