{"id":131598,"date":"2025-03-25T22:07:37","date_gmt":"2025-03-25T19:07:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/131598\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","slug":"ukraine-central-bank-stops-official-rates-for-belarus-russia-currencies","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/131598\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukraine&#8217;s central bank stops posting official rates for Belarusian, Russian currencies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>March 25, <em>Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) announced yesterday that it will stop posting official hryvnia exchange rates for several foreign currencies starting March 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NBU specified that the currencies in question are the Belarusian rubel, Russian ruble, Brazilian real, Armenian dram, Dominican peso, Iraqi dinar, Iranian rial, Libyan dinar, Moroccan dirham, New Taiwan dollar, and Pakistani rupee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulator attributed this change to advancements in settlement automation, which have mitigated operational limitations and risks associated with daily exchange rate calculations for a broad range of currencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, the NBU managed two currency lists, recalculating rates for one group daily and another monthly.
