{"id":131813,"date":"2025-03-27T15:07:35","date_gmt":"2025-03-27T12:07:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/131813\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"lukasenka-appoints-us-trained-economist-to-central-bank","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/131813\/","title":{"rendered":"\u0141uka\u0161enka appoints US-trained economist to central bank"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>March 27, <em>Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka has appointed Alaksandar Jahora\u016d, ex-deputy head of his administration, as first deputy chairman of the National Bank of Belarus and announced his upcoming visit to the regulator, his press office reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jahora\u016d, a US-educated economist, served as deputy head of the \u0141uka\u0161enka administration for just one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A mathematical economist by training, Jahora\u016d holds degrees from Belarusian State University and Williams College (USA).
